Is It Getting Hot In Here?

Not one to pass on a good deal, I saw a bag of assorted peppers, green and orange, for .99.  I grabbed the unlabeled bag and added it to my buggy.  Decided I better do something with them today.

 

As I cut the first one, I had a little taste to see what they were.  Next thing I knew I was in the fridge looking for something - anything to drink.  Survey said - HOT!!!

 

I cut them and got them ready for the dehydrator as I couldn't see adding them to a salad or such.  A Facebook friend warned me to be careful if using bare hands - a little late but a warning none the less.  Now my hands are burning and I'm headed to the sink about every 5 minutes to cool down.

 

Sin is just like that.  Looks like a great deal.  Looks harmless enough.  But, as the Scripture says, the end thereof are the ways of death.

 

(Pause - gotta run to the sink again)

 

Ok, I'm back.  I've learned my pepper lesson.  When will I learn my sin lesson?  It never ends good.  My encouragement this week is keep close to Christ and don't fool around with sin.  Just like the pepper burn, it will get you in the end.

 

Hmm, what in the world will I use this pepper powder for anyway?
