Save The Boat
Thought I'd make some cabbage, ham and potatoes for lunch.  Got the cabbage and potatoes ready last night and this morning threw one of those small canned hams in.  Good ole crock pot had it ready by lunch.
 
As I was opening the can of ham I looked at the can and thought, "that looks like a boat."  Then later when I was doing the dishes, since I'm a kids and youth leader, I thought I'll use that some day and washed the can.

I don't have a clue when, how or even if I'll ever use it but I have it.  Sometimes God brings things into our lives that we don't enjoy.  Trials happen to everyone,  But just like the "boat", God can use our trials in our lives later on to strengthen us as well as others.  He can use that some day.

So when the trials hit, trust God.  Romans 8:28 is still true.  (Look it up).  

Hmm, canned ham boat races at camp perhaps?
