Getting Tough  Sunday, May 20, 2018

It's in the dehydrator right now as I type. I blended all the fruit together and poured the liquid into the tray. Then, as they say, just set it and forget it. Over the next 12 hours or so, the moisture will be evaporated and I will be left with fruit leather. You know, fruit roll ups. Yum! Tasty and healthy snack.

 

The fruit is getting tough. That should be the way our fight with sin is. We should be getting tougher and tougher in the fight against temptation.

 

The dehydrator uses heat to toughen the fruit. God sometimes "puts the heat on" in our lives to bring us closer to Him. He takes us from a new born christian to a well seasoned, toughened child of God that isn't blown over with every little whim of temptation.
