Two Lions   Sunday, September 13, 2015

Once upon a time there was a lion.  He was a mean lion.  He was out to devour his prey.  He would carefully seek them out and patiently wait as well as slowly creep until he would strike.  Then it was meal time for the lion.

Meanwhile, there was another lion.  He was powerful, yet gentile.  Though he had the ability to strike another down at any given time, he was a loving lion who wanted only good, even for his enemies.

The first lion - satan.  The Bible exposes him as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.  That would be YOU.

The second is known as the "Lion of Judah".  That is Jesus who is longing to reach out to someone.  Not to devour but rather to protect, nourish, and love.  Who is that someone?  That would be YOU.

Which lion will you run to?  I trust it will be the Lion of Judah, the true God, Jesus Christ.

Why not yield yourself to Him this week?
