I now have permission to put a hook in the water.  Really.  I can legally get a hook wet.  And if I'm fortunate, I'll catch a fish while I'm at it.

The other day I renewed my fishing license. Now, my name is written down in some computer in Nashville and I have permission to go fishing.  

​

I also have permission, and even an invitation to enter Heaven some day.  I trusted Jesus and my name is written down in the Book of Life in Heaven.  I've made my reservation and I'm on my way.

​

Can you go fishing legally?  Can't if you don't qualify.  Are you on your way to Heaven?  Can't if your name's not written down.  

​

Jesus paid for your sin.  All you have to do is ask for forgiveness.  And unlike my license, it's all free!
