Cause I Wanted One   Sunday, March 15, 2015

So for those who know I'm trying to eat healthy, well, no excuse.  I got home from church tonight and remembered I had some of those .99 pizzas, (that taste like cardboard), in my freezer.  I thought, "I want a pizza".

So I warmed up the oven and put a pizza in.  It will be done in about 7 minutes...so I better hurry up and finish this.

​

Did I need one?  No.  Is it all that good for me?  No.  Did I already have supper?  Yes.  So why the pizza?  Because I wanted one.

​

That's the key to serving Jesus.  (No, not pizza unless you're in youth ministry).  The key is wanting to.  And that stems from LOVE.

​

The Bible tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength.  Jesus said the greatest commandment is loving Him.  If we love God, we will WANT to serve Him.

​

How do we love God?  We remember how much He loves us.

So, remind yourself of His love and set out to love Jesus this week.  And if you do that, you'll end up serving Him.
