It's Not Real Sunday, October 25, 2015
Tonight at church, a young girl had a hair piece that she brought. Guess where it ended up? On top of my head. Though it was nice to have some hair up there for once, (I'm follically impaired), I had to realize that it wasn't real.
Reminds me of some folks who claim to know Christ. They know the words, actions, etc., but when it comes down to it, they are just going through the motions. They have never truly trusted Jesus for forgiveness.
It doesn't have to be. Unlike my hair density disorder, which I can't fix, we can trust God for forgiveness at any time. It's pretty easy.
Guess I'll just have to cover my head with a hat. But you can be covered by the blood of Jesus, which He shed to pay for your sin.
