I Can Drive A Nail   Sunday, July 27, 2014

Those who know me know that I am the Program Director at Ta-Pa-Win-Go.  There's a reason I'm in programming and not in maintenance.  I can't hardly hit a nail straight.  But I was reminded in church last Sunday that I can drive a nail pretty good.

Nope, not a nail to build a piece of furniture.  But I can, or rather did drive some nails almost flawlessly.

Jesus was nailed to a cross.  Guess who drove those nails?  You and I.  Though not physically there, it was our sin that drove Christ to the cross and therefore, we drove the nails.

If I were to drive a nail during a project at camp, I'd be pretty proud.  But I'm not proud of the nails I drove in Jesus' hands and feet.  However, I'm so thankful that Christ chose to die for me.  Because of His great love, He payed for my sin, died, rose from the dead and offered me forgiveness.

Have you accepted His forgiveness?
