I just sent in my 6 radio devo's for the night.  I'm recording for August right now.  But I labeled several of them for March.  What was I thinking?  Actually, I wasn't thinking.  Just a dumb mistake.

Sin isn't a dumb mistake.  Sin is telling God that we are going to do what we want to do when we know it's against what He says.  And we've all signed up in the club.  All have sinned.

​

We don't need God to forgive us of our mistakes.  We need forgiveness for our sin.  And Jesus paid the price for us so we wouldn't have to.

​

But as Christians, we still sin.  Yep, not mistakes but outright sin.  Even though we've already been forgiven for our sin after salvation, we still need to "clear the air" between us and God.  And further, we need to realize that it's a blatant act and not just a boo boo.  

​

Our sin hurts our Heavenly Father.  If we love Him, we won't want to hurt Him.

Ask God for power this week over sin.  He's promised to give it to us.  And let's not hurt our God this week.
