Many of you know about my smart "allelic" phone. It does all kinds of things by itself. Although very entertaining, it's not much good as a phone so I decided to take the plunge, spend a little more, and get a good one.

 

That morning I read, "It is the Lord; let Him do what seems good to Him. I Samuel 3:18. I also heard a sermon talking about the Lord opening and closing doors. I went to the Johnson City Mall to check out the selection. The lady there showed me her two phones but suggested I go to the new Kingsport store because they were having a sale.

 

That night I went down I-26 to Kingsport. After what seemed like an eternity and lots of problems, (that lady had just been there 3 weeks), we continued trying to activate my new talking device. She kept apologizing for the delay. Oh, by the way... On the way over, I heard a radio show and they said this. "If you talk to a stranger about Jesus, and they refuse Him, what's the worst thing that can happen to you? Be made fun of or thought of as a nut. But if you talk to a stranger about Jesus, and they refuse Him, what's the worst thing that can happen to them? They will die in their sins and spend an eternity in Hell. That should take the fear away.

 

The Lord was bringing all this to mind during my purchase and activation. The lady apologized, (as I was praying for an opportunity to share Christ), and I said, "that's ok, I read this verse this morning that says it's all in God's hands". She shared with me of some tragic events she has just gone through and I was able to share the plan of salvation with her.

 

There is no doubt in my mind that I bought my smart allelic phone a few months back because God had it planned for me to share Jesus with that lady last Friday. Are you sharing Christ?
