A few weeks back I planted grass seed in my front yard. My goal is to have grass growing soon. After coming home from church tonight, I went out, turned on the faucet and began hearing the sprinkler as it "did it's thing". I have to keep it watered or it will die. And it's no fun mowing the Mojave Desert. (Wow, who knew that's how you spelled Mojave). :)

 

Are you growing in your walk with Christ? Got to "water" your walk to grow. How's the Bible reading coming along? Spending your day in prayer? It's not that you have to do these things but here's the deal. You GET to.

 

Think about it. The Creator of the universe wants, desires you to spend time with Him. And it's not just a special time, it's a lifetime! Why would you want to refuse that? Just a quick encouragement for you to love on Jesus. I shared my youth group's mission statement with them this morning and let me share it with you now. 3 words...Just Love Jesus! That's it! Spend a lifetime of being madly and passionately in love with Jesus Christ. He loves you madly and passionately!
