Happy Memorial Day. A day set aside to remember the one's who serve(d) in our military to keep this country safe. My heart felt thanks to those folks. It's a day of remembering.

 

I also think of how God wants us to remember what He has done for us. The Israelites had just crossed the Jordan River through a miracle from God (Joshua 4). God told Joshua to get 12 guys, one for each tribe of Israel, and have them pick up a rock. They were to take these rocks and set them up as a memorial. That way, when their children asked the obvious, "what's up with the rocks", they could share the testimony of their God.

 

Not that we need a bunch of rocks, but just an un-forgetting memory of our God and what He has done for us. And not just to remember, but to share. This week, why not share what God has and is doing in your life. Be a testimony for Him.
