And Then The Ants Came  Sunday, April 25, 2010

I hadn't had time to check my mail Saturday so I looked in the ole mailbox today. There was one letter in there upside down. I pulled it out expecting to see a return address but that's not what caught my attention. The letter was covered in little black ants.

 

Being surprised I shook the envelope to get the ants off. Afterwards, I had noticed that there was a spot on the envelope...The obvious attraction for the critters. Someone along the way didn't clean up their mess and it caused problems.

 

Got a mess? Not on an envelope but in your life. We all mess up sometimes in our walk with Jesus. Point is, we need to clean it up or we'll have problems in our lives, and very likely cause otherS some grief too. I John 1:9 has the remedy. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Problem solved. Don't allow the mess of sin in your walk with Jesus!
