Glad Jesus Doesn't Work It That-a-way   Sunday, December 06, 2009

How does Santa work it? He's making a list, checking it twice, gonna find out who's naughty or nice. More naughty than nice then you're getting coal. More nice than naughty and enjoy the presents.

 

If Jesus worked it that way, we'd all be in trouble. But many people really believe that if they are more good than bad, they will get to Heaven. The Bible tells us that even our good things are like filthy rags to God since He is a holy, perfect God. Therefore, we loose!

 

But unlike Santa who comes down the chimney and checks our good vs bad list, Jesus came down already knowing we were naughty. He paid for our sin through His death and rose again. And by simply asking, we can be forgiven and made clean.
