Went somewhere the other day and a little boy was outside looking for ants.  His goal for the event was to take a rock and squish them.  We tried to talk him out of it, but to no avail.  He just kept squishin away.

​

What if you were there and there was a way to save the ants.  And what if that way was to become an ant yourself.  You would become an ant, and throw yourself at the mercy of the giant ant squisher so that others could go free.  Would you do it?

​

I sure wouldn't.  But if you think about it, that's kind of what Jesus did for us.  Mankind was stuck in sin and headed for spiritual death, which is separation from God.  Just like you becoming an actual ant, Jesus became a human.  He was still 100% God, but yet He was 100% human too. 

​

He came to this earth and was placed on a cross, suffered death, so that we could go free. 

​

If you became an ant and suffered death in the place of another ant, that ant would be so grateful.  It would tell all his friend ants, and if you had a dying wish, I'm sure that ant would want to fulfill that wish.

​

So Jesus did that for you.  Are you grateful?  Do you fulfill His wishes? 

What's cool is that Jesus came back to life again.  He rose from the dead and He desires you to love Him.  Do you?

This week, consider the ants, consider Jesus, and consider your relationship with Him.  He loves you!!!!!
