To Halloween or not to Halloween...that is the question.  And I'm not gonna answer it.  :)  It's between you, your folks, and God.  However, whatever your take on the holiday, there is a word going around during this season.  And that word is...BOO!

Now I'm always up for a good, innocent practical joke scare.  They're always fun.  But a serious "boo" is a different story.

God is a trustworthy God.  He doesn't want us to be afraid of things that we should otherwise be trusting Him for.  Yeah, we have natural, and even good fears that keep us safe.  Fears such as the fear of playing Monopoly on a four lane, jumping off a cliff, and bobbing for sharks are natural.

​

But the Bible says in II Timothy 1:7 that He has not "given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind".  That means we can trust our God and not worry, especially when it comes to sharing our faith.

So have a great October 31st, whatever it means to you.  Most of all, keep your trust in the only One who is completely trustworthy...God!
