Last night I was heading to my house and as I was driving I was seeing fireworks all over the place.  Of course I started looking as I drove and was enjoying the show.  There were fireworks to the left and to the right.  As I looked up, I was reminded of the freedom we have in this country.

But also near my house, on top of a hill, are 3 crosses lit up.  As I saw that, I thought of my Savior who died on a cross to give me freedom from guilt, sin, and punishment.

Many have died for our country allowing us the freedom we enjoy.  But Jesus died on a cross offering us freedom.  All we have to do is believe and accept His gift of freedom.

Happy 4th!  Enjoy the freedom of the USA.  But also, if you know Jesus, enjoy His freedom today!
