Let The Son Shine In   Sunday, April 18, 2004

Last week I went away (up north) for a vacation. While there, I saw some 

news pictures of a snow storm from where I live down south. Three inches 

to be exact. On my drive back today, I didn't see a trace of the white 

stuff. I guess the sun came out and did a melting job. When I got back, 

I saw no evidence of fallen snow. 

 

In my life, I've also gone away...from God - aka - sin. But when I was 

about 12 years old, I trusted Christ to come into my life and forgive me 

of my sin. He did! Instead of the sun coming out, the SON came in and 

"melted" the sin away. And now, because of Him, I am totally forgiven! 

He has taken my sin and, in His eyes, there is no trace of it. Guess 

that's why they call it "the good news". 

 

How about you? Have you let the "Son" shine in? Forgiveness is there 

for the asking. Jesus paid the price. His desire is to never remember 

your sin. Question is: will you let Him?
