I got in my car this morning and headed to church. As I was driving along, I noticed a slight breeze. I looked at my windows and they were shut. Where was this breeze coming from? Then I noticed that I had left the tailgate of my car open all night and was driving down the road with it open.

When fighting Satan and trying to live for Jesus, we need to keep the back door closed! Satan will take any opportunity to sneak in your life. All he needs is a crack in the door to begin goofing up God's best for us. 

James 4:7 tells us to resist the devil and 2 Tim. 2:22 says to flee youthful lusts and follow righteousness. The excuses of "just a little won't hurt", and "it's not really all that bad" is just the back door Satan needs to rob you of God's joy.

I stopped the car and shut the door to prevent problems. Let's SLAM the door in Satan's face and tell him he's got no business in our life. LIVE FOR JESUS! He's got the best deal anyhow!
