Slice of New Year's Pie Anyone?   Sunday, December 26, 2004

I have a computer program that I use to keep track of all my financial accounts.  Since using it, it's a whole lot easier to remember to record checks and to keep track of how much I have in the account.  (Not that it's that much to keep track of)  :)

Now and again, I'll click on "report" and it will bring up a "pie chart" of how I "spent" my money, where it went, etc.  (Like I really wanted to be reminded of my departed cash).  Still, interesting to look at.

Speaking of spending, God gave you 525,949 minutes to spend in the year 2004.  If you were to click the pie chart for 2004, where would it say you spent your time?  But more important, God offers another 525,949 this coming new year.  Time to start planning now how you will spend it.  Time to set goals for how your piece of pie will look in 2006.

"Redeeming the time, because the days are evil"  (Ephesians 5:16).  Let's spend it for God.  After all, He gave it to us.

New Year Blessings To Ya!
