I'm Zapped!   Sunday, March 09, 2003

Just got back home from camp. We had a group from Knoxville over the weekend and had a blast. I must admit - I'M TIRED! I went to church tonight with the idea that the only way I was going to stay awake was if the Pastor himself came down and poked me in the ribs! Whew...where's my bed!

The Bible tells us not to "grow weary" in well doing. It's not talking about becoming physically tired, (is it time for bed yet???), but rather not growing tired in serving the Lord; allowing our lives of service to become something we dread. So how do we accomplish that impossible task?

 

Do that by renewing your mind. Change your focus. Don't focus on the service - FOCUS ON LOVE FOR CHRIST! Said it before and I'll say it again. If you love someone, you'll want to please them. Love God with all your heart and you'll end up pleasing Him and not growing weary in well doing.

 

ps...I'm going to bed!
