A Big Hot Dog!   Sunday, March 23, 2003

So I'm cleaning up, shutting down, and doing other odd tasks after the teen retreat right! I'm watching the clock to get to church this evening. We were having a cookout and I arrived after most had gone through the line. I got to the table with the delectable "tube steaks" in question and then someone behind me said, "you want one of these"? I turned and saw the biggest hot dog I've seen in my life, other than those foot long deals. And it was sure bigger than I ever imagined a hot dog to be. It was more than I could ever imagine, ask for, or think of. Dude, it was huge!

I'm so glad that I serve a "huge" God. A God who can do exceeding abundantly above all that we "ask" or "think" (Eph. 3:20). Remind yourself today that God is a "big" God! Remind yourself that He is a powerful God! And remind yourself that He is plumb crazy over you! 

(Even though He is so very big, He loves you and cares deeply for you.)
