No One Left Behind   Sunday, February 09, 2003

Yesterday, I heard someone tell about the "Rangers", which I believe is a military unit. The Rangers have a code. Their code, or motto is, "leave no one behind". In other words, they will rescue their fellow soldiers who are wounded or captured.

As I sat in that message and heard the lesson the speaker was giving, it made me think of CBM's teens. We as Christians are in a war. Satan, who is real, is fighting to draw you away from Christ, literally kill you, and wipe your testimony from the face of the earth, (you know, that "steal, kill, and destroy thing in John 10:10). I sat there and remembered the many testimonies around the campfire of summer camp 2002, and the spiritual struggles many of our campers said they had faced. So, I wanted to say once again...

I'm here! I have adopted that code of "leave no one behind". If you are struggling with sin, or something else that is drawing you further from our "Commander in Chief", I wanted to let you know that I'm available to help. I can pray, encourage, and really, whatever it takes.

If you have received this, it means you are just an email away. Of course, I'm not the one who changes lives...that's God's job. But if I can be of help in drawing you closer to Him - hey, I'm all about that!

Don't be satisfied with living in defeat. Let's keep our love for Christ our number one priority!
