Giving Thanks   Sunday, November 23, 2003

As we head into Thanksgiving, here's just a few things I'm thankful for when I think of who I am in Christ. When we accept Jesus, we become a new creature in Him. We receive a new identity. Here are some things I'm thankful for as one of those new creatures. (It spells "THANKS")

T - TRUTH: I'm thankful that the TRUTH will set us free (John 8:32). 

​

H - HEART: I am dead to the law and God has written a new law on my heart. 

​

A - ACCEPTED: If you know Jesus as Savior, He accepts you totally and completly. 

​

N - NOT CONDEMNED: Romans 8:1 tells us that God's kids aren't condemned for their sin. 

​

K - KEEPS US IN HIS LOVE: Nothing shall be able to seperate us from the love of God. 

​

S - SINGS ABOUT YOU: Zephaniah 3:17 says He shall joy over you with singing. The very thought of you brings a song to God's heart
