The Little Stick No One Wanted   Sunday, November 16, 2003

Went out to eat tonight at a Chinese restaurant with the youth group at church. Someone came back with a stick of something or another, (we still don't know what it was). No one really wanted it because it just didn't look good. It was passed around and around quite a bit. No one wanted it. It finally met it's demise as the waitress came and took the plate with our poor little stick on it.

I'm glad that God doesn't do that with us. When you think about it, we are unlovable because of sin; which we all are guilty of. But our wonderful Creator says, "I choose to love them anyway." He loved us so much that Jesus came to this earth and died for us. He loves us even when we are unlovable. He's an awesome God.
