Tastes Like Chicken!   Sunday, October 12, 2003

This morning in Sunday School I was teaching about Pharaoh and how the 

plague of frogs came to his country. Soon we were off the subject 

talking about frog legs and how they taste like chicken. One person said 

they had been given frog legs and told it was chicken and he ate it and 

believed it. 

 

Just as frog legs can be disguised as chicken, Satan can disguise himself 

so we will believe his lies and fall into his traps. The Bible tells us 

that he actually appears as an angel of light, or something good. He 

will also disguise sin as something good, fun, exciting, and good for 

you. Although there may be "pleasure in sin for a season", or for a 

short time, it will blow up in your face. 

 

My encouragement this week is to be on the lookout for Satan. He's 

tricky and he plays for keeps. Keep close to Jesus! 

 

Don't fall for the one who appears as an angel of light, but follow the 

true light!
